Happy Halloween!

On Saturday the 20th my friend Stacy and I had our Halloween Photo shoot. The weather was terrible (cold and rainy), so we had to set up inside my small house for most of the shoot. It ended up working out well to my surprise. During the last half hour the rain stopped and we were able to do some outdoor shots. So here are the kids in their cute and hilarious (and disgusting) costumes. Costume of the year award goes to Kelleck Diamond, who appears to be coming out of a Donkey's rear end. Enjoy!

Halloween Photos

For anyone planning on coming out for Halloween photos, we are still planning on Saturday, October 20th even though the weather is supposed to be bad. The Haws Family

Last Sunday I took family photos for my brother, Trevor, and his family. We went up to Memory Grove and it was so beautiful. The autumn colors were perfect. These are some of my favorites from the shoot. I love Noah's face when he tries to smile, it is hilarious. Another favorite is a leaf throwing shot where Grace got one right in the face. Enjoy!

Frightmares

On October 12 we went to Frightmares at Lagoon for Raleigh's birthday. (I know, I know.... we already had his party. We just like to do something fun for the kids on their real birthday since their parties are never that day.) The kids loved looking at all the jack-o-lanters and wanted to take one home with us. They had a blast that night. After going on several rides Crew wanted to watch the dancers, so I went with him while Mike took Raleigh on more rides. Then Crew decided that he wasn't too scared for Tidal Wave or Draculas Castle, so we rode those. Raleigh was nervous the whole time on Dracula's Castle and Crew just covered his eyes for the entire ride. It was a really fun night. Here are some favorite photos.

Raleigh and his cars

Last night I heard Raleigh talking in his room. So I went in to check on him and found him lining up all of his cars on the road rug. He was talking pretty quietly, so I moved in closer to hear him. As he placed each car on the rug he would say in his most annoyed voice "MOVE, people!" I couldn't help laughing out loud. Those of you who know me well know that I am not a very patient driver. I wonder where he got that from? Hmmm. I guess I need to watch what I say a little bit closer....although it definitely could be worse!

Crew's first Field Trip

Yesterday Crew had his first field trip at preschool. I had to work (boo!) and couldn't go, but Crew's Grandpa Simpson had the day off work and went along. Crew was so excited to ride the schoolbus and go to the children's museum. He had so much fun, but got into a fight with another boy from school (and so it begins....).
