Cougarette

This is a shot from my days at BYU. We took a couple of cougarettes out to the salt flats and did a really fun shoot. So Nanny, let's do something similar to this.

Easter Green: Part I

The weather is supposed to turn cold tomorrow, so I wanted to take advantage of one last warm day to get my boys Easter photos taken. I bought them some GREEN clothes and took them downtown for the shoot. Needless to say, they looked very handsome. Raleigh didn't last too long before the meltdown, so he spent a lot of the afternoon in his stroller yelling at me that he wanted out. He still doesn't take direction very well when I'm photographing him (like most 18 month old kids) so whenever I sit him somewhere, he's up and running before I can put the camera up to my face. Arrrggg. Several people got a good chuckle from my attempts to pose these two rascals together. Better luck next year.

...More to come when I get the film developed from my Bronica.

The Badger Family

On St. Patrick's Day I had the pleasure of making the absolutely beautiful drive up to Oakely to spend the afternoon at the Smith Family Cabin with the Badger's, visiting and photographing them. Their youngest son Jeff had just returned from his mission in Texas a few days earlier and the family got to spend a little over a week together at the cabin. How fun are these guys? Seriously, they are a laugh a minute. I had so much fun taking their pictures and meeting the new babies, Emberly, Jocelyn and Jeffrey, who were all champs for lasting as long as they did. I hope that I get to spend more time photographing the Badgers as they add to their family. You guys are awesome!
