Donald

This was another awesome shoot at Tru. This is Donald. He's new here from California and just getting into acting and modeling. He is a BYU student and I believe he plays for the Cougars football team. He was great to work with. He had sick style, which was perfect for the photographs. I would never leave my job in a million years if every shoot was like this one. Tiff and I had a blast.

Dallas

This is my first post of images that I have shot at Tru Talent Management, my new job. Dallas was awesome. First of all, she is gorgeous. She was so much fun to work with and we were lucky enough to have a lot of time to spend with her. Each model that we shoot at Tru gets four different looks. We shoot two in the studio and two on location. Here are some of my favorites from Dallas' shoot. And thanks to Tiffani for awesome hair and makeup as usual, and to Stacy with ThreeWinksStudio for the idea for the location.

New Job

For those of you who check my blog regularly, you may have been wondering why there have been so few posts over the last month and a half. I started a new job photographing for Tru Talent Management, a model/acting agency out of Holladay, Utah. It has been a great learning experience so far. I get to work with a really talented make-up artist, Tiffani Berrett. Needless to say, I haven't had nearly as much time for personal posts, and haven't been shooting as many portraits since I started at Tru. So I am going to start posting some favorite images from the shoots that I do at Tru. So watch for some fun stuff coming soon! Then I'll work on getting caught up with the usual posts when I get my life figured out (which may never happen).

The Christensen Family: Candids

These are some favorite candids from the Christensen Family photos. My absolute favorites are at the very end, Craig and the grandkids wrestling on the front lawn. Crew had to make sure to get in on the wrestling action, he thought he was just another part of the family. And I love Noah checking to see if Raleigh is alive in the last image.

The Christensen Family

Last Sunday I drove down to Price, Utah to photograph the Christensen family for the third year in a row. Alisa (Christensen) Haws is my sister-in-law, so it's always fun to go hang out with her family for the day. This year there were a couple of new additions to the family, Nathan (Lindsey and Sarah's new son) and Stephen (Aaron and Tracy's new son). Also, Nathan's girlfriend Joyce was there. It was a beautiful day in Price and we decided to photograph in the backyard this year instead of traveling. The photos turned out great despite the wind, the bright sun, and a few fussy kids and babies. My boys and I had so much fun, as usual, and we hope to be invited back again next year. These are some of my favorites from the shoot. Enjoy! Thanks Craig, Sue, and family!
