Hangin' with the Fam

I got to spend Memorial Day with most of my family in Dublin, Ohio. We got together at my parents house to spend time together, eat dinner, and watch the Jazz game. I love spending time with my family and wish that we had the opportunity to all get together more often. Here are some photos of my crazy kids, my niece Phia, my brothers Chris, Nate, Matt, and Keith (Greg didn't let me get one of him and Trevor lives in Utah), my dad, my sister-in-law Jessie, and Matt's girlfriend Courtney. Since my mom is always preparing the food for everyone I didn't get a chance to get a shot of her and of course I'm always behind the camera.

Natalie + Mike = The Best Name Combination Ever

Last night I got to take engagement photos for a good friend of mine, Natalie Keys, and her fiance. We went down in the ravine behind our old middle school, Sells. It was such a pretty night, although too humid, of course. We also stopped at an old barn, which ended up being my favorite of the two spots. Natalie and Mike did an awesome job and were so fun to photograph. Thanks, guys. Hope you enjoy them!

Little Miss Bright Eyes

Two days ago I took pictures of my sweet little niece, Sophia. I wanted to check out a cool spot in Dublin, OH. It was hot and extremely humid, but we had a good time and the shots came out great. This girl has got the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen. These are some of my favorite shots.

My Yard + a new lens = good times

I love this time of year when there are so many things blooming around my yard. My husband really loves working outside and has really good taste in the plants, flowers, and trees that he chooses for our yard. I, on the other hand, know absolutely nothing about flowers or plants.

I got my new 70-200 f/2.8 lens yesterday and I've been excited to try it out. So during half time (I'm a huge Jazz fan) I took a few minutes to sneak outside and get some shots of the plantlife. And of course a few of Raleigh because he's so darn cute.

Enjoy!
